Agree that we shouldn’t overly focus on physical beauty. I like to tell my daughter that she’s smart *and*beautiful, and that I love her very much. I agree that while we can crave our beauty to be validated, and society focuses on the superficial, it’s important to also important to help the child develop their inner-selves and their confidence with their looks but also beyond their looks.
