Do the Storms Have Significance in The Timeline of Change?

Many indigenous societies and religions predicted tumultuous storms as indicative of a time of change.

Whether you believe the hurricanes, storms, and flooding happening in the various, diverse areas of the globe are happening due to humanity being out of sync or simply from the ways of the natural world, the fact is that we are in uncertain times. 🌀

The poetic and spiritual side of me sees truths in the weather reflecting the disconnect in humanity. The earth is weeping for humanity descending like a plague and wreaking havoc on each other and her fertile soil. Then, the scientific part of me takes this in a literal sense and sees that global warming and erratic weather patterns are a logical consequence of the neglect and abuse we’ve inflicted on the earth and each other.
