Exploring the Poconos of Pennsylvania
The Poconos, famously popularized by The Beach Boys, refers to an area around the Pocono Mountains in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Poconos is well-known for being a retreat location from NYC; it is the pricier version of going upstate. Well, I managed to find an Airbnb in my price range for Spring Break. After all, I’d lived in NYC for approximately two decades and had never been.
Expectations were high, but the Poconos did not disappoint. Mostly, my family and I stayed by our Airbnb, exploring the neighborhood and enjoying our tranquil retreat. Every day we found ourselves only steps away from deer, even with two dogs beside us.
