Exactly! And forgiving someone doesn’t mean you think it’s ok whatever they have done, you just have found compassion and are able to not take their actions personally or maintain a grudge. When we hold resentment for past wrongs, that pain can linger as inflammation and illness in the body. Forgiving and releasing anger and resentment are helpful for our own personal growth and healing.
