Great points! I've noticed a similar phenomenon happening to me on my public-facing Facebook profile - as I identify as a health coach and advocate, so many "business coaches" reach out to "help" offer their services to "help me grow." While I get that there could be some legitimacy of the pyramid-scheme approach, it's a turn-off when people aggressively write me to pitch their own business help and try to come off as "friends" without showing any real interest in my profile or work. It pays to be discerning!!
