Ha this reminds me of the Portlandia clip where Carrie quits her social media and is found to no longer exist. Yes, we’ve gone to too largely conflating social media with real life, even though social media is highly curated, filtered, and designed to be addictive. Metaverse is a fictional augmented reality; I think the opposite is to live in real reality and maybe also the multiverse/mycoverse. Let’s look at how to amplify our sense of connectedness in the real world, rather than have to want to escape the real world for the metaverse.
