I’ve had a similar experience as you! I was an avid bookworm as a kid and was obsessed with reading as much as I could, and these days it’s been difficult to work a reading routine back into my life as a single, working mom. I’ve found as well that having the books also on Kindle so I can read on an e-reader or even the Kindle app on my phone has also helped me with reading more as opposed to say, mindlessly scrolling social media. Reading is so satisfying, and building a dedicated routine to read more helps you be more intentional with your time/energy as well. I’ve also gotten myself back into the habit of reading before bed, and I find it very soothing/rewarding.
