Joey, I think you need to consider here that women are also expected to be self-sufficient and hold down their own careers. To say a woman is in "no man's land" past 35 but that it is her choice because she focused on her career is to also discount the fundamental pressues that women are also faced in this individualist society that says both men and women need to hold down careers and move up in their professions.
