Really good points! I’ve written similarly about how our societal breakdown is related to a crisis of consciousness - we need to come back to recognize our own and each other’s divinity and interconnectedness. We were already massively in public health crises with physical and mental health diagnoses skyrocketing before the pandemic(s), and our collective reality is continuing to show us that society is only as healthy as its weakest citizen. We must do a better job taking care of and supporting one another, or ultimately we ourselves are left fragmented and alienated.
