Thank you for this piece! I agree that women are still suffering under the sexual revolution. Part of the flaw is that women’s labor is still systematically devalued in relation to men’s labor. Child-rearing and domestic work tend to fall under the women’s domain, yet much of this work is unpaid or underpaid. Women being primary caregivers more then men also means that we as women miss out in the so-called real workplace, so inequalities are exacerbated. I agree that hook-up culture does not serve women, and furthermore posit that it does not serve men either. Men need more accountability and they need to also honor the additional risks and costs that women bear.
