Thank you for this piece! I think a key important element is that it takes a community to raise a child. One must be conscious of who and how the community is and how that community relates to the child. A tendency in modern society is to let screen time sub for babysitting, and this is a dangerous phenomenon; kids need active engagement and a community they feel they belong to.
