Thank you for writing about and articulating this! Men should not feel entitled to women’s time, energy, or attention, period - specifically when it’s not solicited. I wholeheartedly agree that many men need to step back and understand the dynamic in a larger cultural context. It’s not about a woman not being polite, it’s about women being entitled to privacy and being able to live our lives peacefully without being bombarded by harassment and unsolicited attention.
