This is such a timely piece to remind us not to be blinded by ambition! While each of us has our own way that we may serve or be of value to humanity, we also need to balance our ambitions and our work with self-care and filling our lives with loved ones. Material success and drive mean little without grounding in everyday health and happiness; I commend this example of someone who put his foot down against expectations of exploiting himself for the sake of his own health and sanity.
