…aps my fears are not unfounded. Apparently, I am not alone here in these divided states of America. America’s Personal Safety Fears at Three-Decade High in U.S. Fears are rising. People are afraid to leave their homes, attend concerts, go to shopping malls, go to public places, public events, public parks, public libraries, go to major cities, and, yes, take public transportation.

Yes, it’s really heartbreaking. We see unhoused people on the NYC subway and it’s really jarring seeing the states that people can be. We are just really in the middle of a housing crisis, and it’s even more visible on the West Coast from my experience.
