Yes - sitting with discomfort and pushing through discomfort is key to healing, growth, and transformation. I've learned from my own re-parenting journey how the saying "The only way out is through" profoundly rings true. We're taught as a culture to value and prioritize comfort, but material comforts will not bring you healing in the way that confronting the difficulties in your life and releasing past traumas does. You feel more comfortable in yourself (or I do) after the healing journey; I've felt lighter from releasing traumas, repressed memories of difficult times, and negative thoughts. But ultimately, it takes sitting with discomfort and releasing the negative experiences and energies from your body, to find more comfort in yourself.
