Yes, this needs to be talked about more! Especially in this stage, where the cost of living has exacerbated, and men have largely forgotten the importance of courtship in a hook-up culture, men's loneliness has skyrocketed. Patriarchy may benefit men more than women, but ultimately it can be very harmful and even toxic for us both. While patriarchy says that men need to be successful providers, I agree that we also need to first just relate to each other as humans and recognize our value lies primarily in how compassionate and understanding we can be of each other.
