Yes, unfortunately digital media and social media culture, along with texting and relying on emojis is causing a further decline in the exactness and grammatical correctness of our language. I understand why people have pushback against grammar policing, but there is also something to be said about being able to write with clarity and removing ambiguity and grammatical confusion.
