You clearly don’t understand equity then. Patriarchy is hinged in women’s unpaid labor, and women in the US were not allowed to sign a mortgage without a male co-signer until as recently as 1974 (https://www.bankrate.com/real-estate/history-of-women-in-real-estate/). So please, tel me about equity.
