You’re the one swearing, not me. I encourage you to work on your mindfulness. I guess you’re also showing me by example of a man fighting to earn respect. Point taken, but it also supports my argument of why it is problematic to have to fight to earn respect. If a woman or a man has to fight to earn respect, then the respect is often accompanied by resentment, criticism, and judgment. The reality is that we can and do have to fight for respect, but what I am arguing is that a basic level of respect to people who are not doing anything wrong should be accorded to every grown adult, as the default.
